This isn’t a good assessment. Not only was OSU missing different players on defense but Smith is wildly head and shoulders above any receiving threat that Lawrence had and their offensive line is way better than Clemson.

Don’t worry he will respond soon, I guess he is still watching Mac Jones aka Tom Brady film at the moment.

IMO If the team misses out on the top 4 QB's the team should draft QB Kellen Mond around 3rd Round! A least it looks like someone may draft him before or early in the 3rd round then I'd say they move back up in the 2nd Round to get Mond because he showed his worth in the Senior Bowl!

Where was it said how we rated on his list.  It is hindsight but no where have I seen that we were on any less desirable list.   

Honestly, it sounds more like sour grapes than anything.   How about we just didn't have a good enough deal than "he didn't want to come here"

      To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.

      Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
