Jake put the team on his back time after time. Christ he took us 80 plus yards in the final 2 minutes of the Superbowl to tie it.

He had a phenomenally better performance in the Superbowl and crunch time than Cam Newton could ever dream of.

I'd even argue that Teddy, in his lone (most likely) season as the starting QB for the Panthers, had better weapons than Cam ever did his entire Panthers career. Yet, Teddy was 0-8 in game winning/tying drives.

Teddy is a career backup.  Nothing more.  We are paying 20 mil a year to a backup expecting him to be more.
