And it's all because the team invested time and money in developing him.  In his case I am not sure we owe him anything more than his current worth of which this team helped him achieve.

I’m not saying he deserves a huge payday but he’s trending up so he deserves more than he’s been paid in the past.

Just removed everything to do with the Panthers including profile pic on his Twitter fwiw

Dammit not again. Why is he ALWAYS a bubble player. I feel like he has earned the right to be a solid rotational member of the organization where at least this season he knows his place with the team is his to lose if he takes his foot off the gas. Somehow im guessing this dude never takes his foot off the gas as he seems to be all effort and very thankful for what he has.

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one
    • "If you could change any one instant in Carolina Panther history, ... just ONE, ... what would it be? Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
