Really good episode. Too bad they can't all be like this.

Am I the only one that LIKES Walker? He's scum, sure ... but I just dig him. And now he's all hopped up on screamers! Battle Star is a letdown. Dude is worthless.

Two episode left. Predictions: The PB will be revealed at the very end to set up a movie, Flag crew will get dealt except for the ginger who will escape, Walker will lose the shield, Sam will take the shield, Bucky will go back to his list, and Zemo will be sitting pretty on a yacht somewhere.

I'll say this, Anthony Mackie has been great this series.  Just wonderful as Sam trying to figure out that HE is the Captain America everyone needs.

As for Walker, I saw an article about how he's not just trying to navigate Wyatt's way out of the shadows of greatness, but his own since his parents are Hollywood Royalty (Kurt Russle and Goldie Hawn).  I never thought about that 😃

I just hate that Sam and Bucky had to fight the Wakandians.  It seemed really out of character for them to jump in against them.  I'd rather they have joined Zemo on the exit from the room.

I feel Carter is the Power Broker. Seems like the kind of swerve that many won't see coming but will make a whole lot of sense. There's something more there. I'm really digging this series.

I’ll try to not throw my shoulder out patting myself on the back

I really liked the final episode.  Sure, it's going to be quite polarizing, but Sam said what needed to be said.  Was it pandering?  Absolutely!  But it was necessary in the world we live in.  The truth of the matter is that his point about the hate was 100% true and accurate.  It's a point that needs to be made, that needs to be heard.

Of course, the culture warriors will rack this up to "ruining" their super heroes with politics or over stepping.  I guess that's more of a discussion for the TB.

This does set up a cool dynamic for Captain America 4 with Sam as the cap.  I love that he took the title instead of waiting for someone else to give it to him.

Functionally, the episode was a poo show of random stuff that was pulled together by Anthony Mack in the last 15 minutes.  Poor direction.  Lots of missed opportunities in the script.

But for me, Sam in the suit did it for me.  I can forgive a lot of garbage if I like certain parts enough.  That's kind of been the way the show has run.  Some of the low points drove me nuts, but the highs were great for me.

    • This won't be a trap game for them. I worry more for the next time we face Atlanta. That's a death trap game if we aren't careful.
    • Luckily, we've got more games ahead to watch and see what happens. Maybe he keeps growing his game, maybe we see that he's topped out when we hit stiffer competition. Or maybe he flames out against a team he should well be able to beat like the Jets this weekend. I really can't tell where all of this will end. I can say, though, there's no reason to hit the kid at the moment. Let him roll for as long as he can.  Heck, Sam Darnold is setting the league on fire right now, along with Baker Mayfield and Daniel Jones. Examples of guys mired in bad coaching on bad teams (sometimes our own) that hit their stride just as a team did. Maybe we're about to get lucky.  I do know one thing. The biggest change in a winning Bryce and a losing Bryce is that when he plays fearlessly, he is a hell of a competitor. When he gets scared, and he has so many times, it all just falls apart for him and no team can save him. Bravery makes the difference and it comes from believing in not just himself, but his line, his receivers, his running back and the play calling. Just like most young QBs. And quite a few of the old ones. Rodgers couldn't make it in the chaos of the Jets situation. He can in Pittsburgh, so it seems.
    • That’s what I thought too. Maybe I interpreted it wrong. I was considering maybe taking a last minute trip but I think I’ll pass
