You took out Brady, both Manning’s, and Ben R. Off a claim of HOF QBs(one is in) with questions about those. Is Brady and the others not just as much “HOFers” as those you listed. Or did they just ruin your theory which is still hard to follow.

Both Manning’s and Ben R have 2 SB ea over 20 years each or 60 years combined.  Point proven.

None played 20 years. Less than 50 combined. Peyton had 3. Ben had 3. Brady had 10. He not a HOFer.

How many QBs started a SB that you don’t consider HOF. Since the criteria is whatever you can make up, maybe we can compare the differences in the two and really take care of your point.

Brady was not a 1st rounder and NE didn’t trade 3-4 1st rounders to get him.  He is an outlier.

Neither were Wilson, Farve, Brees. When did that become part of it? No mention of where drafted until now. What’s next? 83577EFA-5E9B-45DD-B8A4-027D850A4B8F.jpeg.4283dac1a599b0bac57b463fc7b6eaa7.jpeg

You prove my point.  Top 10 draft picks of QB’s is no guarantee.  Don’t give away multiple 1st round draft picks for an unproven QB.

Can you name me 1st round QB’s with multiple SB appearances in the last 15 years?

CAn you show me where this was part of your ridiculous point to begin with?

Eli(2), Peyton(3), Ben(3), Rodgers, Cam, Grossman, Flacco, Ryan, Goff, Mahomes. Why is a QB who retired in 1999 on that original list. Maybe you should just move on to your next alt because you have ruined this one out of the gate.

Point is that HOF QB’s only go to SB 1 time out of 15-20 years on average.  We don’t need to give away 3-4 first round picks to get QB since it is no guarantee

If that’s your point, you failed miserably. Last 20 SBs. 40 spots.

  B. Johnson, R Gannon, Delhomme, McNabb, Hasselbeck, Grossman, Kaepermick, Flacco, Foles, Goff. That’s 10 out of 40 non HOFers. That’s 75% of places occupied by an HOF QB.  And only 3 won.

All draft picks are unproven in the NFL until they actually prove that they can play with the big boys.

He also left off Terry,Bradshaw, Rodger Staubach, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Kurt Warner, Didn't John Elway make 2?

Be glad to if you take 7th round draft choice Brady out of the equation.  He is definitely an outlier if you understand the term

He’s still a HOF QB, and you were claiming that QBs aren’t that important, not anything about where they were drafted

    • I mean, first of all, I'm not the one who initially said he was a life long fan, it was in that tweet in the OP. But more importantly, "life long fan" is a relative term, especially for a franchise like the Panthers.  I think anyone who was say, 10-12 or younger when the franchise started, and been a fan since the start, could claim to be a life long fan. I'm 38, been a fan of the team since year 1 even though I'm not even from the Carolinas, after almost 30 years of fandom and following them since the beginning, I have no issue saying I'm a life long Panthers fan. Very possible his dad is say around 40 years old and been a Panthers fan since the start.  And even if he's a little older, if you're a fan of a team for 30 out of your say 45ish years of life... that's "life long" in that instance.
