Without Jordy it kinda pushes the need for Turbo.....

Two different players for sure, but yeah it would be nice to see Turbo back.  A little concerned about bringing TT back against Florida though....their last shot at us in the regular season and I am sure they will want to send us a lasting message.

Yeah, I'm not putting any of the injured guys back out there against FLA. If anything, I'd give some of the top guys a maintenance game and let the cabbies come up and take the dirty hits the refs aren't gonna call.

The best chance FLA has at the division now is to injure our guys. Why give them the chance?

And why not flip a giant bird to the NHL by benching stars in a premier playoff race matchup late in the season.

The only issue is we’d only be able to rest one forward. That’s literally all we have left on our taxi squad(minus bean who is in timeout in Raleigh?) and if we recalled some players from the AHL I assume the news would have dropped last night. But ya I agree no way in hell I'm putting TT in against Florida, if he is ready to play start him off against Dallas.

Completely different players, but with 3 wingers down.

No projected lineup so far and i doubt we'll see one with the injuries/bang-ups. Rod say there are a few game time decisions besides what we already know.

    • Yes, he's a tier above them, but you also touched on the money side of it.  With T-Mac locked in as our #1 on a rookie contract for a few more years, I'd much rather use that money that would be needed for DJ on our defense and develop Coker into our #2.   Especially given his contract situation as an UDFA, as his contract is up at the end of this year but we can keep him around for a 3rd team controlled year on the real cheap.  Which means we probably could get him to sign a very reasonable extension this offseason to give him a little more money while giving us a bargain contract for what he provides. DJ's contract is north of $20 million for the next 5 years, why pay that for your #2 WR with the needs we have on defense and you have guys like Coker, XL, and Horn on rookie contracts who very well could combine to be a serviceable 2-4 WRs behind a stud in T-mac? I love DJ and he'd be a great fit on this team as our #2, but the money side of it just makes absolutely zero sense, that's all it comes down to for me on this one. And no, I don't see the Bears wanting XL back in that trade, because they drafted Burden, who is essentially a better version of what XL provides, a player you want to get the ball into their hands and let them go to work.
    • I didnt see that many bad calls in the panthers cowboys game, but the chiefs especially in the playoffs were getting every single call they could get then the refs when it didnt matter would throw a call towards the other teams.  That I believe was the taylor swift effect.   But its crazy just thinking about how easy it is to change a game.  You dont need but a single ref to make a few close calls go towards one team over the other and in the nfl that is the game.
    • I don't think it's unrealistically blaming Bryce Young......to say has been a reason, sometimes a big one, in why our pass offense overall has been extremely week over the past 3 collective seasons.  I think that bothering anyone, is just being overly invested in some Bryce Young argument.  It's just a reality.
