Panthers latest video on the new look draft process

Recommended Posts

Meh, was mostly fluff. A compilation of most the videos they posted during the draft. The only thing unique was a Scott Fitterer interview in the middle so I'd recommend that.

It's funny, you see the Colts, Bills and even the Browns putting out this videos with amazing production value and real behind the scenes stuff, and I wish we did that too. I know we started to last year, but it's been too long and infrequently.

The production value was kind of low too. After seeing the Colts video, that was a big letdown.

I really don't care about in depth war room coverage. Tell me about the players after you select them and entertain me on the field. I can't imagine anyone in that room wants it to be covered in depth

I get it. Most people wanna see the highlights on the field, but some others like me just really like to see the inner workings as much as possible because it's just such a fascinating and unique world. But if it was the Panthers choice to not have more than what they showed in the draft room, then that's fine. But if it's a possibility, for me I'd be totally down to see it.

'til then, I guess I'll just get my kicks from the aforementioned teams.

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
