Doesn't mean you know about building homes but it means your millions are at risk going forward....and you do seem like the type that would have some strong input in what would happen down the road with it.

One thing I learned a long time ago is the difference between intelligence and expertise.

Even an intelligent man isn't an expert on something he has no experience doing. And if he tries to act like he does over and above those who actually do, then maybe he's not that intelligent after all.

The other alternative is to become an expert.

"Football" really isn't very complicated and for a guy with Tepper's massive intellectual horsepower it's truly child's play...

...you're deluding yourself about the level of Tepper's involvement now, and going forward.

[cue the barfed up rain-man like "Showtime" response...LOL]

Not now, but solely because he's old and declining. In his prime, absolutely. He was championship caliber QB. You'd have to be a moron to say you wouldn't want Prime Big Ben as your QB.

I'd have been fine with him too.

However, the massive contingent of "fans" who have consistently referred to him as "Rapistberger" would look like complete hypocrites if they support Watson.

He did want to play here. Not saying this was his first choice or not, but it was certainly a choice. And, it was reported early.

No he most certainly did not. And that report was misleading click bait. Not a soul from Deshaun’s camp would ever confirm it because it ain’t true. Same way Stafford and other QBs don’t want to come here. And why would they? The only QB we had that was worth a damn we ran out of town.

It is becoming a concern.

Treated TB5 worse than a dog too...

Should I talk about how ironic this is? 😄

(I'll leave it up to you)

    • Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.
    • 13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit.
