Asked what it would lead Moton to play on the left, Rhule replied: "If he's the best available."

in the NFL, a team has a LT or it doesn’t

in the NFL, a team has a QB or it doesn’t

Those that do, win and those that do not,  lose

Do the Panthers  have  LT or QB?

 No one knows

Tepper invested 65 million in Rhule and Tepper  talks patience   I don’t believe it

if this conversation is still being had in year three, Rhule won’t be here and he shouldn’t be. He passed on LTs. He passed on QBs.  This isn’t the NCAA where you can coach up meager talent and win.

So when the Chiefs started the season last year, did they have a LT?   Because it didn't look like it in the SB.

This notion that once you have elite olineman that  you're good-to-go ignores the near-certainty of injury on the oline.

We've brought in 5 new olineman, is there any surprise that we are experimenting to find the best configuration?

Yeah, that's...not even close.

Moton himself talked to SI and said that it was challenging because it was so different than what he was used to, but even then he said he was willing if that's what the team needed.

Bottom Line: At no point did he express that he didn't want to do it. Nor did Rhule say anything like that.

Based on his almost conflicting thoughts there you could argue he is either on the fence or not wanting to give away what they're thinking just yet. Guessing a little bit of both. What he says about Moton being valuable where he is and the best rushers coming from the right is pretty important in this context though.

Plus you have two completely different staff and front office who have not moved him to LT yet. Seems pretty damn logical Moton would be part of the equation

Wrong again.

Rivera and company actually did play him at left tackle more than once. They just didn't leave him there.

I 'd add that if your argument depends on the notion that Ron Rivera made good personnel decisions, you don't have much of an argument.

I agree.  We are all anxious to see how this plays out.

Conflicting thoughts?   Jesus h Christ dude are you a mind reader?  Please give us one shred of evidence that moton “isn’t keen on making the switch”.   Anything at all if not stfu moron.

Sure, it's possible. It just requires a lot of stars to align. Will Grier could possibly be a HOF QB too.

I want to make sure I understand this.

Are saying that Will Grier entering the HOF is as likely as "the line plays well enough to get the job done"?

Because one sounds impossible (Grier HOF), where the other sounds more than possible (serviceable line).

We kept 3 starters, 4 if you include Scott.  We brought in 5 new lineman.

The 2 lineman we let go weren't awesome last year.  One is jobless and the other is a backup for the colts.

You hate the 5 lineman we brought in so bad, that you are near certain the the oline is going to suck, when it was largely considered average last year?  It just sounds extreme.
