Section 545 row 23. Last home opener i went to was Buffalo a few years back, and it was a burner! So damn hot! Stadium was half empty by halftime. Mostly filled with Bills fans, in my area anyway. I'm really hoping Panthers fans bring it today. Not being able to go last year really made me miss going to games. I am heading up from Lexington SC in just a few minutes. Hope to get some quality tailgating in this morning.

Coming from Knoxville with a buddy who is a Jets fan.

Section 538 Row 11.

Update: I’m not coming now.

My Jets buddy woke up with a bad fever and I can’t find someone else to go with me. Just listed the tickets on Ticketmaster. I’m super bummed! Been looking forward to this for months.

my dad and I have been to 22 or 23 home openers.

absolutely don’t want to go to plague town tomorrow but how do you tell your dad no?

Like this: "Sorry pops, I love you and I love the team, but I have to prioritize my health and the health of my family."

It's not really that hard. You're an adult. Make a decision for yourself and expect others to respect it.

    • The aversion to tying up too much money in the ground game when it’s what’s winning us games is crazy to me. I get letting Rico walk if you think he’s easily replaceable but I don’t see many people arguing that, just applying an arbitrary salary cap based on what we think RBs are currently worth. I’d rather be stuck with Hubbard as an overpaid backup (not the worst one to have, mind you) than lose out on the most productive player on the offense personally.
    • Why do people keep saying things like “it’s not Young’s fault we spent so much to draft him”? Who cares if it’s his fault?  Nobody is saying send him to jail or anything.  People aren’t talking about blame for the decision to draft him, they’re talking about how bad he is as a QB and how we’d be much better with even an average QB.  Pointing out that we sunk a lot of resources into drafting him isn’t invalidated because he didn’t make that decision himself. Doesn’t matter whose fault that was, he’s still not playing like a QB who was drafted at all, much less one that cost two firsts, two seconds and a #1 WR.
