Game Balls - Who gets em?

CMC did CMC things he's always in god mode bet he has his 99 overall in Madden back in this week's update he's always in god mode.... Shaq really impressed.

 

Edit CMC was already a 99 lol and the Jets fans were shocked he was so good.

Which is shocking considering what we all feared.

Maybe that changes next week but for now, they kept Sam upright more often than not.

Sam just has to do a better job being more accurate in the redzone.

 

If they continue to play this way, I like our chances going forward.

So here is my 3 Game Balls :

1.) CMC (without a doubt)

2.) Sam Darnold (who did not throw ONE inadvisable pass this game)

3.) The Entire Panthers "D" giving Zach the "D" (if you get my meaning).

On their 2nd TD it was clear as day that he was being held and they didn't call it.  When they showed the replay you could clearly see him being held.

1. This team will go as far as CMC can take them.  All other factors cancel out and fade into the background. The ONLY real difference between these teams was that we have a RB who can get nearly 100 yds receiving and running on any given day. Best player on the field by far and the determining factor in this win.

If this team has even a glimmer of hope to win more games than we lose, he’s going to have to do that 10 more times at least.

2. Our entire DL is going to cause problems for teams all year, that means putting opponents in bad down and distance situations and lots of sacks.

Not sure why we didn’t see the same kind of intensity in the 2nd half on D.  Perhaps the Jets made adjustments.  

If I had to single out one player, it would be Brown.  Loved how Shaq played, too.

Another honorable mention is Horn. Besides that one TD near the end he shut his man down and even that play he almost got his hand on it. Excellent rookie first game at a position where rookies are known to struggle. He was a supposed to be a weakness and he wasn't. He looked very promising.

That's actually true.

We never heard about Horn aside from that TD grab by Davis which means he was doing a good job for his first professional game.
