Anyone else concerned/disappointed with the lack of touches for the backup RBs and CMC's sustained workload?

Its something to consider to that CMC has such a great skillset as a receiver that even if he cant be a bellcow for more than 3 more years you can easily move him to the slot full time and he spends the next 5 years as a Wes Welker or you move him around like we used Curtis Samuel where he lines up in the backfield sometimes. I truly do think we’ll get a solid 10 years out of him. He’s basically only played 3 full seasons because his rookie year he really wasnt on the field much and last year only got 3 games. 2018 he also had Cam taking alot of the punishment. So really at this point 2019 is the only season where he really had to carry the offense

I want to know on what drive could we have put a backup RB in and still moved the ball. Most of the time the pass rush was arriving as Darnold checked it down to CMC. A check down to a scrub is not nearly as effective as a check down to CMC. Maybe we can begin to spread the ball around if the Oline can pull their head out of their ass.

    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
