Correct.  He has not been ruled out.  That said, newly acquired Bradley Roby is active for the game.  The Saints just traded for him from the Texans as part of their fire sale.  He immediately becomes the #2 CB behind Lattimore on the roster.

Yeah I’m not really worried about Roby plus he is just coming into a new system.

Is Lattimore not playing? I read he came back in with cast last week and played. I could see him playing right?

I thought they put him on IR, but apparently not... He did just have surgery on Tuesday though so him going back into the game last week is irrelevant and I'd be surprised if he played this week. We'll see though.

He is isn’t officially OUT yet,  but damn he is gonna have a tough time playing after getting surgery yesterday…. Yeah I’m assuming he Is out a last minute scratch.

He had surgery on his thumb and is week to week, so I’m guessing he’s going to be out. Gotta give it a little time for the incision to heal.

The surgery was to remove a bone chip.  That doesn't seem anymore invasive than having it actually chipped and he played with that.  I'd put my money on Lattimore and Roby as starting CB's this Sunday.  That said, they also have Desmond Trufant and rookie Paulson Adebo who played great last week against the Packers and also got his first career pick.

Then again, it's a guy playing at 70 percent at best, and a guy playing his first game in 10 months for a new system. But those Fuggers always find a way to pull some BS against us.

Trufant is garbage, and Roby is not as good as he was in Denver. So not really worried about that.😆

Just saw the Post "They allowed a rookie to throw for almost 300 yards on them" Someone is only looking at the stat sheet....  He had pretty much nothing until late in the game!

That’s someone that doesn’t understand the game of football. We let up and that’s what happens, believe me I’m pissed he should of never had that or at least one of those tds.

Yeah I’m definitely not worried about secondary, not dline and lbs are good.

DLine has a few key injuries and Alexanders status is up in the air... I believe the key to this game is on offense and not necessarily needing to score 30+ the key is not giving the Stains offense short fields to work with or allow them to start in our end. For once I am pretty confident in our rush defense....

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
