MORE things to do in Atlanta if you're in town for the CARvATL game on Oct 31.

  • If you like spooky haunts, NETHERWORLD (fearworld.com) in Stone Mountain is regularly ranked in the top 10 haunted houses in the country, occasionally making #1
  • Sunday night after the game, if you're still in town -- there's the HALF NAKED HALLOWEEN LINGERIE PARTY (everyone in costume is free to enter until 11:30p)
  • Masquerade has their annual HEAVEN and HELL halloween bash on Saturday night. It's usually pretty good
  • Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Hard Rock on friday night
  • Ricky Martin/Enrique Iglesias concert friday night at State Farm arena
  • Gov't Mule at the Tabernacle
  • Atlanta United soccer at the Benz saturday night (man, that's going to need a FAST flip, who scheduled that crap?)
  •
  • DJ JAZZY JEFF and RAKIM at the Buckhead Theater
  • Eykkah Badu and Goodie Mob at State Farm on Saturday

"best" is subjective. everyone has different opinions on cocktails, music, beer selection, vibe, particular age group, time they get rocking, etc.  What's "best" for some people may not be "best" for you

with it being halloween, many clubs/bars are likely hosting halloween parties, which may change their normal crowd and timing for when things get hopping.

For east atlanta? HRm.... uh, check out The Earl? look into the Virginia Highland/L5P/ East Atlanta Village areas?   (others may have to chime in for real suggestions - I'm usually more food-based)

    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
    • Yea Bryce was definitely a top half qb the second half of last season but I'm not sure Canales is 100% sold on him.  Like I've said in another post I think that's part of why we talked to so many South Carolina players in the draft process.  I think they are doing early due diligence on Sellers just in case.
