I get why some didn't want Watson, but it's not a happy time.

The tweet said he waived his clause for Miami only.

Joe Person said the no-trade clause wasn't an impediment for a Panthers deal.

Who's calling the shots means nothing...

It means everything.  If Mr. Whip-It-Out had the gavel he'd have been traded long ago.

Good to know, I guess. It's something akin to a moral victory, and they don't mean poo.

In regards to who's calling the shots, It doesn't matter in regards to our situation. We're still fuged regardless. We do not have a franchise QB, regardless if Rhule still has faith (publicly, at least) in Darnold or not. Darnold is what he is: one who sees ghosts, but can't see the proper read.

Rhule knows PJ is even worse so he'll do what he can. Make no mistake, he isn't happy with Darnold... But we aren't getting a franchise qb mid season.

I hope this convinced them to stop fuging around with retreads.

Rhule already knew what PJ was though and he made no effort to look at another option because he didn't want to hurt Sam's feelings. That's the part that stings. We handcuffed ourselves for a QB who had yet to actually earn or prove anything in the NFL.

    • He was so much fun to watch as a player but is a prototypical example of the old "never meet your heroes" adage. Great player, not a great guy.
    • Look.... if us BY "haters" give credit about his GWDs...... Will the BY stans also have honest discussion about the 55minutes before the last 5 in which BY has put up 9/20 for 78 yards 0 TDs???
    • The way they are handling now is how they should have handled it from the start instead of that you get a series, you a get a series. Let Chuba spell until he had some of his step back.  We definitely could have put a better showing against Buffalo and their weak run defense had we employed the same game plan we did against Green Bay. Saints were determined to stop the run and make Bryce beat them, Atlanta had similar plan and the coaches and Bryce were able to respond.  Rico although didnt have the best rushing game was vital in the passing game and his catch and run help get us into the redzone there at the end of regulation probably should have been a touchdown that out of bounds was a judgement call it wasn't conclusive and thus should have went with the original call on the field.  Roco brings that dawg to the offense that it shorely lacked up until Miami game. Interesting it was his call that help seal the win for us, glad the coaches were listening. Hope they can get a deal done and run it back next year.
