Nobody thinks PJ Walker is the long term answer at QB for the Panthers.  Hes the backup QB, who has a decent shot at actually playing on Sunday.  If you want the Panthers to win, you should want PJ to be good.

Hes a backup QB...how many backup QBs out there are "good"?  If they were any good they would be a starter somewhere.  Hell, there are not even 32 "good" starting QBs out there.  Playing QB in the NFL is really hard, if you haven't already noticed.

Yes there are. They want him benched, traded, cut, etc. They have no desire to see him on the field ever again. Yet they want to see what PJ has. Odd. Why? To scrape up a few wins? Sam gives us a better chance at that.

Why? Well, if you play PJ a couple games then Matt Rhule can’t get away with pretending his college QB deserves a roster spot for a 3rd straight season.  

then next season we hopefully don’t have Sam or PJ occupying roster spots.    Both are pointless.
