Credit to this idiot

He had Cam in the final year of his contract coming into last season and injury free. Instead of evaluating, he gave the car salesman talk about how he couldn't wait to coach him and ran him out of town. He was given TOO much control TOO quickly and I am glad to see him be humbled a bit with Tepper basically forcing this move.

Rhule might end up being a decent coach but he should not have final say on personnel

I don't agree with a lot of what you say but I agree with this. Whoever makes the next decision at QB, it should NOT be Rhule.

It's time for Tepper to let Fitt have full control over personnel.

This. And let Rhule have a say. A GM and HC have to be on the same page, but it takes an experienced NFL guy to ensure you're getting the best personnel.

Fitt can teach Rhule the ins and outs of structuring a team while getting a better idea of the kinds of players Rhule prefers and his temperament and expectations. Whole team would benefit.

Say it again! Create a new thread! Every piece of this is absolutely one hundred percent truth!

Guy post what every Panther fan with eyes and half a brain painfully knows...

It's something the staff has to prove is behind them going forward. Show me a young rookie with upside that can sit for a year or two and it helps ease that clusterfug. Another retread would be hard to take in 2022, with or without Cam.

Mistakes get made, making the same ones just means the bigger mistake IS them. If they can't learn form this year what a franchise QB looks like, after the last 2 years of failures, they will never know.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
