Has that come out? Is he ahead of scheduled rom what

I heard on my fantasy sports radio. Horn has a lis franc injury and it’s on the more severe side. So I’m doubting he plays this year and hopefully it doesn’t  detail his career.

I have not heard 1 report about the dreaded Lis Frank, I think that’s fake news.

Yeah more worried about them than the Falcons or Saints. We also have a bye and most these other teams already had theirs so we come in fresh for the last 4 games

All that means is we gotta get up into the 5th or 6th spot and not have to worry about that. We can totally win the next 3 games and put some distance between us and the rest of the WC contenders.

My thoughts exactly our remaining schedule is not that bad and it seems like Tampa Tom is regressing and they don't have a great defense given the fact that it's gonna be Cam and not Sam we could legit win out and be 12-5

Also they could be resting their starters in Week 18.

Only mention about it was the initial 8 weeks part realistically speaking I don't see him making a return unless we're in the playoffs it's not an easy injury to just get over he broke multiple bones in his foot

Agreed. Let him heal up. Honestly with Gimore we don’t really need him now.

Just think how much better that average would be if Darnold could have actually led the offense on some scoring drives instead of turning the ball over.

Had we had Cam all season we’d be something like 8-2 right now. No cap.

So did Gilmore finish playing after he got hurt? I seen he wasn’t even on the stat sheet. Did they not throw it his way any or did he not play second half? I heard someone say they didn’t see him out there much.

He was in even on the last series

He’s been a breath of fresh air for us. What a player. We have GOT to resign him in the off-season. Honestly it should be pretty easy. He’s home and his wife is home and she seems pretty damn stoked to be living in Charlotte again, hell she graduated from Providence after all!

    • This 1000%.  Hey who wants to sign with the guy that couldn't even get his client the guaranteed contract of a 3rd round pick?  Lmao
    • I don't think it's any weird or unique clause, it's the offset language, same thing so many contract disputes are over. It just means that including it, if a player is cut and then signed by another team, the original team would be able to subtract how much they're getting paid by the new team from what they still owe him on their guaranteed money. For example, it's why Russell Wilson signed for the minimum last year with the Steelers as that was included in his Denver contract.  So if he signed with the Steelers for $1 million, he'd get $1 million less from the Broncos, if it was $2 million, he'd get $2 million less, basically he couldn't make any more money than he was already going to make, so you sign for the minimum to not take unnecessary cap room from your new team while giving extra cap room to your old one. The problem with trying to include it in rookie deals is that a team trying to include it, it says they think they don't really believe the player will make it 4 years with the team before they cut them.  And this usually comes up with one or two rookies in most seasons, the difference is it's usually handled much more quietly and not as public and ugly as this one. The other difference is that it's happening with the Bengals, which I believe I saw are one of the few (or only?) team that doesn't have protections for rookies in rookie and mini camps to be able to participate even if they haven't signed their contract yet.  The other teams have injury protections that allow them to still play, but the Bengals do not, which is also why this one is so public and ugly, as most the time this happens, the rookie is still participating in the rookie and subsequent mini camps, giving them more time to get the contract done before training camp when they'd then hold out.
