I'm so happy Cam is back and I really hope that he plays great, but I am not holding my breath for a 300+ yard passing game. He's been here for just about a week total now, that is not nearly enough time to absorb an offense. 

At this point, the question is - is a brand new Cam Newton with a massively reduced playbook better than PJ Walker who's been in the system for 2 years?

I don't want the team to set him up to fail and hope they give him enough time to digest the offense before they throw him out there.

Oh just wait if we lose. The Nuthuggers will be blaming everyone but him. They just as obnoxious as two years ago.

      I’m an optimist thru and thru. I love any win this team can muster, and Bryce did what he could to keep the team in it, but he’s why the team was out of it to begin with.  I like the guy, but he is not… he’s just not it… and I was swayed by the way he finished last season, but his physical limitations will never be overcome. A one arm tackle stopped him in his tracks en route for 6, among several other plays where an even average starter in the league succeeds.  A franchise QB is supposed to be his own cheat code. Bryce needs a cheat code dude, that is not him, to win. Chuba CARRIED (literally) his ass last season. Thielen bailed him out EVERY game he played in last season. Today: Rico turned in one of the best games in franchise history, Tet was unguardable and put up at least 100 yards on his own (PI yards included),  and the defense basically pitched a shutout after going down big so they could beat one of the worst teams in the NFL.

      Rico 10000% saved Bryce Young from being benched for the Dallas game.  The way that game was going there was going to be no way to trot Bryce out next week at home if it kept going like it did.  Bryce probably is safe from bench risk until the next home and home presents itself.    He can’t be playing bad going into that next Atl game and then lay an egg in it.
