“Beginning at training camp this year, players who drew a penalty flag, dropped a pass or made another similar mental or physical error had to run to a DBO (Don’t Beat Ourselves) placard and back. Rhule said he viewed the missed reps as the punishment more so than the running, which some players did at a leisurely pace.”

But when a player misses a rep because he’s half-assing a sprint, does that help the team in any way shape or form?

Truly some high school level poo.

It’s a problem that our players half ass anything…coach should be fining them

Don't think Trask will play.  Bucs will still need to win to improve their conference record for tiebreaking reasons.  Currently have three NFC division leaders at 11-4.  Which honestly, is good for us.  I would rather see us get Brady'ed again at this point just to drive another nail in the Rhule coffin.

But is there anything more terrifying that Kyle Trask learning for two years from Bruce Arians and Tom Brady?  In our division?  Makes me sick to think about.  I don't know if Trask will be good, but the kid had tools and didn't make Darnold level goofball decisions.  He landed in the best possible spot, for sure.  (I really wanted us to draft him, before I knew Rhule couldn't develop players)

Me too. Why didn't you join me on the *OFFICIAL KYLE TRASK BANDWAGON*?

Could have used some backup. I told everyone here he would be dangerous.

-There’s also the feeling among league sources that Rhule keeps too many of his former college players, which can affect his credibility in the locker room. An agent who represents multiple Panthers’ players called Carolina “less meritocratic” than any team he deals with, adding the Panthers have Temple and Baylor players who wouldn’t make a roster anywhere else in the league.

This is what we've all been screaming while this dolt continued to ruin this team, it was obvious that he was stocking subpar talent. Mediocre NFL players from his college days, players that couldn't play in elite college programs.

Fatt Fhule hates players like Cam, his inferiority complex from Temple and Baylor seems to have created disdain for elite players.

Nobody willingly played for this guy if they could go elsewhere. His entire scrapheap mindset is anti-NFL.

Tepper needs to step in and fix this shtshow now. Don't wait, cut bait.

“Rhule can say toughness in his mind, but they’re not oozing toughness on the field,” the scout said. “They’re soft. They’re a really soft football team. I don’t see the defense stopping anybody where it’s a 14-13 score. That’s tough football.”

-This scout was right about our defense. Don’t get me wrong, I know our offense is the worst in the league, but this defense is soft regardless of our ranking and the thing Rhule tries to hang his hat on is such an improvement in defensive performance…..but they wear down after the half every game.

He’s the anti-Rivera. RR didn’t seem to ever really manage anything. He never seemed to get upset about trivial stuff. The Cam sidelines stuff is a perfect example. Rhule seems to get upset at all of that….

Not necessarily wrong but you better be able to show results. It seems very Belichick, Saban-esque. Saban failed. BB obviously didn’t…but also had the greatest player in league history. In order to micromanage pros who make $10 million a year you better be winning games or people aren’t going to want to put up with that garbage.

    • You joke, but hasn't basically the whole team been in Charlotte this past week together? I'm not one to see the random dumb stuff players put out on social media in the offseason and think it means that's ALL they've been doing and not working on their game.  But it's a little strange that all this is coming out at the same time we're seeing tons of stuff with the team in Charlotte together, even if it's just working out and not even official team OTA's or anything. So he gets a pass from me saying anything now, but if he doesn't show clear improvement this season, it then opens him up to some retroactive criticism for some things.
    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
