It's crazy to me that Dan Quinn is such a coveted candidate after ONE season removed from being HC of the Falcons.  He did a great job as Dallas DC, but there is some seriously freaky talent on that team.  I don't get it at all.

Might have something to do with the glut of jobs available - a guy that hit the jackpot once might be able to do it again. Agreed though that retreads like Quinn seem to rarely yield better results the second time around.

It is really interesting that Poles, coming from the Chiefs, won’t even interview Bieniemy. Is it Bieniemy’s background issues before the Chiefs or does he just interview really bad, or both? Something is definitely up, and I don’t think it is racism, even though it is prevalent.

Bienemy is prob getting the chiefs HC job when Reid retires

I heard last year that Bienemy doesn’t interview well and comes off as less than prepared.

Really strange how several sources were reporting Leftwich had the job, but interviews still aren't over.  Either way, I think it's too soon to give Leftwich a HC job.  He's relatively new to OC and his QB is Tom Brady.  This is like Adam Gase getting the credit for Peyton Manning's success in Denver.  Leftwich could end up being a great HC, but it just seems a bit premature.

Couple of insiders are pointing that Baalke and Byron aren’t doing well coming to terms with anything in the house. They are probably gonna be  about facing and gonna turn to Hackett next. Hackett is out in Denver according to some Twitter folk.

Could be a negotiating ploy.

Leftwich's agent might be asking for more money or years than the Jags are willing to offer. Telling him they're gonna interview someone else might be to try and get him to compromise.

    • These arguments are getting more and more disingenuous from both the pro and anti Bryce crowd. Bryce looked very good for stretches down the final 8 games. He finally showed glimpses of the guy that was projected as a top QB pick in the draft. Bryce also didn't look like a top 10 NFL QB.  I think we are so far removed from Prime Cam that we forget what an elite QB looks like. I could tell that when people were losing their minds and simping for Sam Darnold. This season needs to finally showcase Bryce as a franchise talent. If that doesn't happen, it's time to pivot. There are very few recent examples of QB's struggling or being a mixed bag through the first three seasons of starting and then suddenly becoming frachise caliber players.
    • See that's the thing what I saw in game 2 was so embarrassing id rather they could just forfeit
    • Are you arguing that his height deficiencies and footwork within the pocket have not been a present issue clearly seen on his game tape particularly in the games he struggled in? Because that's simply denying what everyone in this fanbase who have watched the games have seen. It's interesting how hardline BY fans here quickly and effortlessly pivot from whailing about being victimized to becoming the aggressor and hurling out allegations of bias and hatred. And at the end of the day while Bryce Young clearly improved significantly from the first two games of the season the reality of the situation is he still finished 42nd in yards per pass attempt behind Mac Jones and tied with Caleb Williams and 38th in passing yards per game behind the likes of Gardner Minshew Aidan O'Connell Drake Maye and Will Levis. Furthermore it took Bryce Young 23 games to surpass Panthers legend Kyle Allen's 13 games worth of passing yardage in 2019. So if your argument is he became a head and shoulders better passer over the course of the second half of the season the reality is we're still waiting to see that growth this season. And there is nothing controversial or vitriolic about saying so from the mind of a rational observer.
