I'm in the minority but I don't have a huge problem with him starting to begin with. We might even be able to trade him if he does well.

I completely agree. I say start darnold with an improved line and see what happens.

I agree with you guys, but I'm surprised the poo police hasn't been by.

Lucky for us you won't be making the decision. No one wants to watch that rerun.

Let's take a quick look at the Pickett v Howell thingy.

Offensive line? Neither team could run the ball, and both QBs ran for their lives, a lot. So...EVEN

RB? Neither team could muster much of a running game. So...EVEN

WRs? Neither team had what you may call a NFL type guy. So...EVEN

Yet 1 QB (Pickett) played much better than the other QB (Howell). I wonder why? Probably because he is a "Man among boys". lol

This is one of the most completely full of poo posts ever made on this forum.

OL? Pitt #36, UNC #102

https://www.pff.com/news/college-football-ranking-all-127-fbs-offensive-lines-through-cfb-week-13

RB? Their RBs combined for roughly the same stats. The big difference was Howell added almost 900 yards and 11 TDs.

WR? Pitt had a true sophomore literally win the Biletnikoff Award given to the best WR in college football. He's considered a potential top 10 pick in 2023. UNC had one legit WR who will be a slot only prospect in the NFL and likely a mid-round pick.

Howell has produced without Josh Downs. Kenny Pickett never did anything until Addison emerged as the best amateur WR in the world.

Gotta love when someone is clueless enough to serve up a post that utterly betrays that they have no clue what they're talking about.

Darnold will be the QB this coming season. Most fans will spend their Sundays watching something else. Life goes on.

I’ll watch and then I’ll bitch and cry because I’m a Panthers fan damn it and that’s what we do! (Well I’ll at least look for highlights if there are any)

Dude do you just come on here to be a jerk? You know you can just look and not respond right.

Lmfao asking for a QB who isn't the worst in the league is being a jerk? Even PJ Walker is arguably better. Don't be ridiculous we're both grown we can admit the truth.

Like I said, you just can't help yourself. I don't give a poo what you think. No one needs your idiotic responses was what I was trying to convey to you. I swear you and Burns must be brothers or alts.

Lol look for those crisp looking, spiral throws that go straight to the other team. Those highlights will be plenty. Also, highlights of Sam getting ran into the ground after holding on to the ball for 8 seconds. I would love to be wrong though.

    • yeah, but the actual jersey Bryce Young is wearing is not the same jersey you are buying from Fanatics.
    • i just feel like i read this he says she says poo all the time over & over again  on the internet  TV  work ,in public & then i think back to myself oh what a sick slandermongering world we live in now. ts just like those National Enquirer magazines you find in the grocery store at the checkout counter which are nothing more than complete & utter BS  & more often than not when you assume something then you make an ASS out of U & ME. so chill &  let the courts do their job & if he is guilty well he is guilty  LOL either or this has nothing at all whatsoever to do with Carolina Panthers football
    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
