how did I miss this post for 5 pages worth....holy poo "small school" triggered me wayyyyy more than it should have bah hahahahaha. I mean there's some truth to that, besides Vandy we are the smallest SEC school. When I was at Ole Miss, the enrollment was around 12,000. You could run into the same person walking on campus two or three times a day. And being that "small"....we had some insanely hot co-eds. It was frat daddy central though.

I'm on the Matt Corral train and I will continue to shovel coal in that som'bitch until it either reaches the station or derails, crashes and burns.

The QB’s that pass my eye test are Corral, Howell, and Strong.

Corral seems to have all the tools you want. You just wish he was a bit thicker based on the way he plays.

Howell looks like he will just be a good football player who can will the ball down the field. A nice feel for the game. Don’t think he will lead the league in passing yards/accuracy, but I think his offenses will just score points.

Strong just has a nice arm. It’s hard not to like the way he slings it. Deep ball is fire. Can make all the throws. His knock is that he is a statue, but I don’t think that will matter that much as long as he stays healthy. Good football player.

These are the only 3 that I would be all on board with. Corral would have to be at 6 I think. Howell seems like late 1st early 2nd. Strong I really don’t know. I’ve heard 2nd round to day 3 projection.

Willis is too risky imo. Pickett seems like good in college but would peak as a middling nfl guy.

It's just sad times for Panthers fans when Sam Darnold is the starting QB and the prospects are a bunch of guys who probably won't last more than their rookie contracts in the NFL. Maybe one or two of the prospects this year end up being long term backups.

Well we don’t know that though. Too many narratives around draft time.

For all we know Zappe might make 5 pro bowls.

We just have game footage to go by, but most people watch highlight vids and pair that with repeating what espn guys say and then they come on the forum and act like “this guy sucks and this guy good.”

Maybe Corral does blow every night with hookers. All I know is that his release is quick, he’s mobile, and has plenty of zip on his throws.

Everybody, everywhere has issues or has in their past. Either emotionally, mentally, or with some sort of crutch like alcohol etc. There is only so many Saints. The guy seems like he faced the demons and moved on. How many people in their twenties can say that or even accept they have issues.

He deserves a shot. Plenty of ability and seems to have a fire in the belly. This team could use that.
