People keep saying that but they were never regarded as high as whats on deck.  They both had a ton of poo they need to work on

Yeah, that's...not actually true.

But either way, going by this year's hype train isn't exactly a reliable path.

This time last year, people were saying similar things about Spencer Rattler and Sam Howell.

I’ve constantly had this debate. Next year’s class looks good, but a lot can happen in one season like this past year… There are a lot of unknowns like where we are picking and how they play next year.

There are already mock drafts for 2023 up on draft sites.

(this when mocks posted in February turned out useless)

Oh yeah. Plenty of QBs drop in the draft after an additional year of play. Jordan Love and Jake Locker are a couple aside from Rattler/Howell off the top of my head. The constant wait until next year guys are playing a dangerous game.

Backup quarterbacks... Other people's food orders... Next year's draft class...

I would draft a QB early next year regardless of how Corral looks. I think him sitting for a year would be best, but with the QBs we have he will likely get playing time.

It’s not a bad idea if we are high on a prospect that’s available when we are picking. I wanted us to draft Fields after we signed Darnold. Having several good young QBs isn’t a bad thing.

That'd be pretty heavily contingent on us not having any other big needs though.

If Corral is the future let Sam go. It doesn't benefit either guy. The option was a mistake and no way Sam should be the one Matt should be looking at as an NFL professional. Clean the QB room and start fresh.

I disagree with that bolded part. By all accounts, Sam is a true professional. There is a very real chance that Sam could be an excellent mentor.

As a general rule. QBs are not the most eager of mentors.

It wasnt a constant for me, this just wasnt the year and we just saw why.  The past 3 days is definitive proof of what the nfl thought about this class.  I would have been over the moon with Fields from last year and have said all along 2023 has way more volume of top prospects then 2022.  There are legit like 5 players that can go in the top 12ish.

    • You honestly think Tampa would have traded down with a division rival so their rival could land a “generational player” at a massive position of need for TB?   bruh
    • Ya'll better quit throwing shots at Zod. He'll come in here and ban everybody. I had a friend @prosource who was banned in 2015 because he said some very minor things about Zod being an ass to the posters on the main forum after starting the All-Pro one. He said he felt like another level is cool, but don't punch down on people that don't want All-Pro. (He did say that it wasn't going to last long anyways.🤔) I distinctly remember him calling and being like "dude, I got banned, my profile says I don't have access to the Huddle!") I feel like once Tepper came in and cut off all unofficial access to the team, Zod was going to be around less. The All-Pro board had really good photos, even in game stuff, and I remember seeing him behind a little fenced in area at Wofford for non team sanctioned press/photographers after Tepper bought the team. I knew then his ego wouldn't allow him to continue with past fervency and effort with that reduction in access. Dude was literally in the locker room when JR was owner.  I came over in 2011 immediately after finding out this place existed. I was super involved with the Charlotte forum, and fell off after its demise. I will never forget arguing Pep over Ryan Sims on that forum! Who is Ryan Sims some of you may ask? My answer is exactly!
    • And not see him running free. Because has been free a lot more than he gets credit for.    Now what XL does with that when he does see the ball, is on him.
