We're not your damn dumping ground!  We HAVE a new QB and he has more OTAs and training camp and preseason to get up to speed. That's plenty AND others have done it. No b**ch ass'dness! No coddling! Let's GO!

Engine #9 or top five next draft. THAT'S what needs to happen.

This is nonsense!

I mean, you are not wrong here

To be fair he’s played 10 more games than Sam has due to injuries and thrown 4 more INTs. He’s also thrown 92 TDs to Sam’s 54 and led the Browns to their first playoff win in forever. I don’t think he’s a franchise guy but we could do worse if the price is right.

True, but just to keep things in perspective, he's also been in a much better situation, especially in regards to offensive line and offensive weapons. One could easily argue that he was the weak link on a championship team. Darnold's teams were basically terrible.

If Baker comes here and leads this team to 10 wins that would be incredible.  We would be in the playoffs and that would be 100% increase in the amount of wins we've had the last 2 seasons.  Who WOULDN'T want that, is the question?

Baker will undoubtly be worse here than he was in Cleveland.   Cleveland was stacked to the nostrils on O.  The guys a dick and his team carried is sucky ass.

Maybe Corral looks like Will Grier in practice who knows.

Bottom line is I’m just done with this team giving up assets for bad QBs.

Sounds familiar. Much like the Cam Newton situation, doesn't the coaching staff bear a fair amount of responsibility for not giving the player the hook if an injury is obviously causing an issue with playing ability?

Well, you heard Baker, it was his right to make the call.🙃

We are giving up more draft capital to bring a fug head onto the team.  What in the holy fug is this front office doing?  We are now the official laughing stock of the league.

If they trade Mayfield for Darnold straight up and get the browns to take on some of the salary and money from the trade that’s the only way I’m on board with this. Having all 3 of the QBs on the roster is a bad idea because Corral needs a real shot to see the field.

    • He does have speed. 21+ top end speed is very fast for a linebacker and his 3 cone drill time is considered excellent, close to elite.
    • This is awesome because you get to see the perspectives of the scouts--get a glimpse behind the curtain. I wonder whose doing this was; I am curious as to why David Tepper allowed it. Maybe it was his wife. Maybe Dan.  At least from my perspective--and probably one shared by other fans--when David Tepper bought the team, he closed everything off too much to the fans, and really didn't give an explanation. Things were obviously done because he (and/or some others wanted to do it). Remember when they used the guise of construction and all that to keep fans from seeing the team during practice? I know there are laws and safety and all that, but Tepper could've made it happen. And, of course, we all know that they essentially fired Jeremy from his independent contractor gig as a photojournalist. I never understood why they'd do that (and the negative reverberations obviously affected Jeremy and ultimately this place--i.e, us fans). The pie was (and is) certainly big enough to throw some scraps to the independents. I realize that you can't necessarily open the floodgates, but a few different perspectives from indy journalists whether in word or photos is a good thing in my mind.  So, it's great to see different perspectives. I will say this however: it is not without risk, as you know there will be some buster who will be calling the scouts out if the players flop. I think we should all keep in mind that the buck stops with the GM. It's nice to have one, however, that is so convicted in his people and process--and ultimately success, that he's willing to give fans access to this type of information. Pass this on to Tepper.
    • I hope he ends up being our best ever at the position. Ryan Kalil left big shoes behind that we haven't quite been able to fill since.
