Lol. Honest mistake, I meant Baker. Thx for the correction.

Baker, I meant Baker.

OK I thought I was going crazy for a minute there....  Yeah Baker is short for the position.  Honestly Corral is better off letting Baker/Sam take their lumps this staff and constantly shuffling OL.  It could be in his best interest to sit this year until Rhule gets fired.

The farther we go, you may be correct. Maybe Corral needs to be protected from Rhule.

I seem to remeber him being a long time poster on the scout forum's even before JOAT, and a few others including my organization handle joined here..... This nonsensical Matt Corral stuff is just sad.  Reset this guy.

Operation Golden Corral was direct response to the unwillingness of Matt Rhule to develop a QB instead of these every year QB rentals.

That's the ONLY reason, Matt Rhules tone deaf incompetence. As you can see Rhules destruction continues as will Operation Golden Corral until Matt Rhule is forced to come to his senses and do what's best for the Panthers instead of himself or fired.

Rhule coming to his senses that's rich, All I can hope for is that we can somehow become a good team in spite of him.

That is such a stupid fuging rationale.  …..

You know what keeps a lockerroom tight, showing that you know what you are doing and trotting pj out there when everyone and their brother knows he is a goner is not showing you know what you are doing.

Rhule set the noose height himself going into preseason when he made such a big deal about Baker and Icky not being handed starting positions. I made an error insinuating those reps were “gifts”. PJ’s practice performance earned those reps forcing Rhule to be consistent.

    • It's just a talking head.  Talking about gambling. If anybody takes the under on 4.5 wins, they're most likely losing their money.   So he's only saying if you want to bet on a possible sleeper, take the over.  It's not rocket science.  Pathetic that so many on the huddle have reduced themselves to posting purely trash every time they hit the submit button.
    • I mean I think the best case scenario has to hit for the Panthers and everyone else in the NFCS has to hit their worst case scenario.  Personally, I think this is the year that NO finally collapses and I think they finish 4th in the division regardless.  ATL is overrated but still likely a 6-9 win team. TB plays tough football, their defense will be there but their success depends on the offense, they too are a 6-9 win team.  The Panthers are probably 4-6 wins at best. If they find some sort of momentum during the season and get 7-8 wins, and TB and ATL struggle then maybe but I find it very unlikely.
    • We screwed up a couple years ago taking Bryce in the first place.  Nobody held a gun to our head to jump from #9 to #1.  Most people who keep up with draft news knew this 2024 QB class was loaded and we should have waited, which I advocated. It was a dumb move and I knew it.  Now we have to roll with Bryce another year.  That's fine, because this 2025 class isn't that great.  I like Ewers, but not super high on him.  If Bryce shows improvement, which I think he will, that should get him at least one more season before we have to decide on if he's the permanent answer or not.  I've said before, the 2026 draft is the next window for a franchise QB if Bryce isn't the answer. Bryce gets this year and next at a minimum.
