Jesus of course now this turns into a hate Rhule for hiring him post.  Dont you get tired of posting the exact same spin on every single post on the huddle every day?  He fired him pretty quick and hired an experienced OC.  He learned from experience on the job as people do.  Good for him.

Oh you didn't miss it because I'm not butthurt or playing revisionist history about the hire... I like the hire and he was high on many actual NFL analysts and Teams list..

I missed it because you didn’t address it.  Rhule hired Brady.  Rhule created a horrific offense.   He picked the unqualified OC.  He picked the bad QBs.   And again, Matt Rhule has never seen good offense.

What do many NFL analyst say about the hire now?

I'm not sure he was 100% the one that picked Brady.   I think Tepper had some to do with that too.  Maybe not though.  Just my feeling.

He still should take blame for him "wanting to try something new" with Brady instead of getting a more experienced staff to counter act his inexperience as a pro Head coach.. College coaches Micromanage everything Pro Coaches Delgate .. He should have been fired for not knowing that..

But Hopefully he has learned..

Brady probably would have done better without Rhule's micromanaging, just saying

No he wouldn't have..

It was clear he has no experience as a play caller or could adapt to NFL defensive coaching..

Once they had tape on him we were done..

I dont think you fire a first time head coach for the over hyped oc he picked immediately after getting the job.  Unless he picked someone from Baylor or Temple he didnt really have any nfl connections or picks for oc that he would have known would work out any better.  I also think Tepper saw all the hype Brady was getting after the LSU season and how so many teams wanted him apparently and helped steer things in that direction as well.

The takeaway is that Tepper likely convinced Rhule to hire shiny  object Brady. He was originally interviewing McAdoo. He said he went out of his comfort zone. It failed. Brady has a mind for play design but no experience with the rest of the job or player interaction.  This was talked about by Moore and sluder to by Steve Smith.

One day he may be great. He wasn't ready.

Huddle good ole boy version:

Yada Yada Yada Rhule sucks derp derp blah blah

It was Tepper!!!  Anything bad is always someone else’s fault.  Rhule didn’t do it! Were you one of the guys pretending Joe Brady was the GM and he was the one who actually wanted Sam Darnold? lol.

He didn’t interview McAdoo for OC.  He interviewed him twice for QB coach.  And Rhule wouldn’t hire McAdoo.

Did I call Brady good? Did I say he shouldn’t of been fired? Pretty sure I have repeatedly said he should of never been hired here in the first place.

It’s just you putting on Rhule blinders.  Rhule is responsible for the offensive shitshow.  He is the architect.  You can’t acknowledge that fact so you project that I love Brady to deflect from the core issue.  Every post you make is how to spin things so Rhule isn’t responsible for his own mess.

But you do like genuinely love Brady lol it’s weird as hell.

If what you posted above is truly your position rather than you being the spokesman for Boners For Brady, then you would also be redirecting any Darnold criticisms towards Rhule like you do with Brady. Cause your exact same reasoning applies to Darnold. Any time someone posts “Wow Darnold sucks”, you should be storming in like “Woah woah Rhule is the one who traded for Darnold, HE’S the one responsible for our POS offense”. But that’s not what you do, is it? You pile on Darnold like the rest of us, but you shield Brady of every single criticism directed towards him. Brady is uniquely coddled by you every time anyone dares say anything negative about him.

Pot meet kettle.  No one is saying Rhule hasn't made mistakes.  Anyone new to a job does.  I'm not even sold on him.  I'm 50/50 if hes the answer or not, it's sad how much this place makes people need to defend him with their bs takes.  First time coaches with no experience are going to make mistakes, that is known at hiring.  The question is do they learn from them.  So far it does look like there is a chance he is learning from them.  He inherited a 5 win team that had Kuechly and CMC for 16 games.  It was one of the oldest in the nfl and in cap hell.  Now it is one of the youngest, in much better situation as far as the cap goes and has much more talent and less holes overall.  It's been 2 seasons and he started with no experience and in a complete rebuild.  People need to stop acting like they already know everything about the head coach already.

Exactly.... Which is a valid reason he should have been fired.. But also a reason to believe he's growing by changing his situation and staff..

So you choose not to read the 4x I said (in this exact thread) it was a fireable error his staff choices..

Got it...

McAdoo wasn't being interviewed for OC it was quarterback coach or passing game coordinator. As far as Joe Brady being forced on Matt if it sounds far fetched that's because it is. Rhule at the time was a hot name in college ball as was Brady. Do you really think Matt had to have his arm twisted to bring him on board? We are talking about the same man who took our offer to the Giants to see if they would match. They declined. But you want us to believe that man didn't get to choose his own offensive coordinator?

Our offense was the worst in the league after they fired Brady.

It was worst in the league with Brady..

I don't understand why ppl can't see how bad it was...

TEAMS WERE LITERALLY RUNNING OUR ROUTES IN THE PASSING GAME!!

He ran the same play 5+ times a game even when it didn't work 4 other times..

CRA after probably 300-400 posts this off-season alone fighting tooth and nail to explicitly defend Brady from any criticism: “Quit acting like I love Brady”

CRA to anyone who makes a pointed criticism towards Brady without even mentioning Rhule in any way: “RHULE LOVER!!!”

Lol, this is like an SNL skit.

remember when Rhule couldn’t even fire Joe Brady properly? Let an entire bye week go by and then announced his firing.  Then got in front of a microphone and bullshitted about how an entire week off for the bye didn’t matter and wouldn’t of helped get his other version up and running lol.  Anyone need a used car?

Sir Purr made Rhule do that I guess.
