I have been a MJ fan since I was a child, and despite my criticisms of him, I've held onto hope that he would figure it out as an owner here, but it just seems like we're spinning our wheels.  I don't know how I would feel about it...  but I also don't know how Simmons would know this.

I also have no idea and it was random. He mentioned it when talking about Phoenix, not sure if it was a mistake or what.

He was saying that if the right price came up, Cuban might sell Dallas. Then, in that same case, Charlotte would become available. 

The context was owners in their 60s feeling like they’d want to sell if Phoenix got 4-5 billion. Not that Charlotte was next to be sold. It’s important to hear what he was discussing before, and he was using present tense, as I understand it, just as he was using present tense in Dallas potentially being sold.

I don't see Jordan selling the team to make a profit.  Think he is personally invested in winning as an owner for his legacy.

Also if he isn't the first player to win as an owner I'm sure LeBron is going to try to be, and MJ more cares about that comparison than he lets on.
