Did you formulate your opinion on some sort of facts?

It would be unheard of for a positional coach to have full control over who starts in his position group.

In August, Matt Rhule did a press conference where he outlined the starters, do you think he was just regurgitating what Campen told him?

The more likely scenario is that Campen has input but the ultimate decision is up to Rhule and Rhule has decided to go with Elflein. Meanwhile, Bozeman, who graded out as one of the top 15 centers in the league last year, is sitting on the bench.

So by your argument, the argument that stated that Christensen and Corbett make Elflein look better than he actually is… Bozeman would also look better playing beside Christensen and Corbett… one again, using your argument… the Panthers could potentially have a top 10 center sitting on the bench… and I’ll tell you right now… it’s isn’t because of Campen.

It's one thing to disagree but you have to really be out there to believe a head coach with full control and a 63 million dollar contract isn't setting his own starting OL lineup.

Looking at this as a growing opportunity…we have a ton of playmakers on offense.  Need to put it all together and gain some confidence and we will be tough to handle

What we have not gotten is everyone’s best game…on either side.  Need to beat Zona and gain big mo.

Again your Opinion which just like mine isn’t backed with any facts.. Unless your in their building how do you know what the dynamics in the room is?? Where are your facts that Rhule isn’t listening and implementing based on Campen and Macadoo’s advice ?? They were brought here based on there experience and resume to do the jobs they are doing now.. There isn’t a clear connection with Campen in Rhule’s history.. So at this point we can both make up narratives based on nothing but opinion.. All I know I’ve seen different methods implemented in this offseason that I didn’t see in Rhule’s 1st 2..  So all I can do is give credit to the new addition and not that Rhule has learn something.. You believe what you want and I can do the same.. Plain and simple..

Yeah the offense having zero points until the 4th quarter is a major issue. Plenty of opportunities. This zone poo is going to keep any offense in the games no matter how well everything else is going. It did seem like the coaches took some baby steps this week, more blitzes, more under center QB work which opens some things up. It's really the zone on D and the long routes on O that are just stubborn BS they need to mix up occasionally

Even if he was better at this point Elflein hasn't played himself out of the job, and offensive line continuity is very very important.

That’s assume that Campen is making the decisions… when in reality… history tells us that position coaches don’t set the starting lineup.

You’re opinion isn’t based on anything at all as where mine is coming from 1) the head coach giving an interview a month ago and telling us what the starting lineup would be while also praising Cam Erving (maybe go look that interview up) and 2) the widely accepted fact that head coaches set their lineups.

Campen isn’t even the associate head coach like he was in Cleveland, just the OL coach.

Man I hear you.  I see a very conservative coaching staff that has plenty of talent to work with here.  This team is too passive with the talent we have

      Coker has earned his spot---truly earned it.  I still believe that we need to add a more dynamic speedster with high upside to the mix. Then we can really soar, provided we get upgraded QB play...

      I don't think we don't call things aggressively, for a Canales offense, anyway. We don't have a QB who makes aggressive throws nor stresses defenses downfield. He is at a career low on 20+ attempts per game and his career 10-20 QB rating is abysmal.  That will always be a limiting factor IF you are looking for a high flying, downfield offense. I am not even that concerned about it, I just want to see effective offense and we decidedly do not possess that. A large chunk of that is Bryce. I think the second biggest chunk is Canales. All the other components(XL included) are fairly minor in comparison to those two things. I am an advocate of attempting to improve at QB. I am not focused on finding "The QB." We failed at that with Bryce. So let's just get better. If that's a one year vet or a draftee or a cheap trade or some combination of any/all, we should do that. We have to get that QB better. Bryce will fail in 2026 and we need to have REALISTIC options to take over when that happens. That ain't Andy Dalton or Hendon Hooker or Jack Plummer or Mike White or....you get the picture. Be serious about hedging that Bryce bet and not just having to make do if he struggles or gets injured.  My mind is definitely made up on Canales. It's year two and he hasn't improved much, nor do I think the bones of a good HC are there. Ron Rivera got to that point after two seasons and he was open about the changes he had to make and advice he got to make that leap in year 3. If we don't see the same after next year, how is he not just Brian Daboll?
