Realistic question: if playcalling could be taken from McAdoo, who would you have call plays?

Not sure, during fanfest I was watching Sam and Baker very closely.

Sam was moving the ball down the field, looking like practice Sam, very capable, efficient, patient even.

Baker looked exactly like he does now. No progress.

I can't rightfully judge McAdoo without a QB executing and Baker doesn't. I think Sam is coming back for his job. He's getting paid a lot of money and Baker has crashed out, Sam would be better in this offense we can all see that, at least I hope we all can.

I feel like it’s more difficult to be successively bad at your job than it is to be consistently good. As in, how is one able to do the same thing for four straight weeks, come up with the same result, and not once pose the question to oneself… “maybe I should try something different.”

They are trying different things, jeez…this statement is over the top.  You saw players turning the ball over, missing passes, penalties, dropped passes.  These players have to play better on offense.  Period.  The OC has to be better but I think literally the #1 problem for me is 3rd down on offense.  We have to be last in that dept

Well for starters, they could extend Mayfield’s drop back. They’ve wasted 12 passes over the past four games by continually running the same scheme that requires Mayfield to do to two and three step drop backs before firing the ball into the defensive line.

When a coach is 11-26 and the only common denominator is said coach, it goes wayyyy beyond turnovers and dropped passes.

I’d argue that the first down offense is significantly worse than the third down offense. I don’t have time to look up the stats but I’d be willing to bet that the Panthers face third and long (i.e. third and 7+) more than most teams in the NFL because they can’t stay on schedule.

Lol or waiting for Matt to get fired and opening it up to look like a hero.

Yeah, the crazy thought has crossed my mind that McAdoo is sabotaging the team in hopes that he can become the interim head coach. He does have D-bag look about him.

The thing is, it's HIS fault were are 1-3.

    • Nobody on the huddle is saying we have an elite group offensively across the board. They aren't great. They're young. If you are expecting someone to agree with your position of blaming everyone around Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career you are going to be left holding the bag save for a handful of people who act like they are paid to defend his honor. Bryce Young is not a guy who has had to claw and fight his way into starting jobs in football. He's had the best to work with and been gifted roles since he was a teenager. The Panthers have one of the youngest rosters in the league and with us needing an infusion of young defensive talent in the upcoming draft we're only going to get younger. We need a QB who possesses the ability to elevate those around him. If you can't agree with me on that then there's nothing further to discuss.
    • All Bryce and the Panthers had to do was split with the Saints and a rookie QB. The bar was so low. They even had a whole bye week to prepare. The time for singing kumbaya was before that game. Anyone still talking about Bryce earning a second contract 43 games into his career is living a fantasy. He might get one from the Tepper owned Panthers but he's damn sure not earned it.
