Woke up and got to work and now that I'm settled, hearing the Canes win to start the road trip is a great way to start the day.

The Canes are still finding themselves as a team this year which I like, I felt like we peaked really early last year as where in reality, you want to be playing your best hockey in March.

If the Canes can continue to win while not playing their best then it’s just an indicator of how good they can really be.

Stayed up for that one. Wow I’m tired. Totally worth it. My take is the score was 2-1 but easily could have been 6-2. Raanta made some great saves and we peppered Riemer.

This has the feel of a canes 2-1 OT win.  We outshoot the dog crap out of the other team and only muster a couple.  I’ve seen this game 1000 times.

I stayed up as well. Nobody else in the house was- wife went to bed and both dogs followed her, so I was doing the lonesome celly. Spent the 3rd standing in front of the TV, cause if I sat down, I would have been asleep.

Anyway, the Canes figured it out after the better part of 2 periods, but sheesh, gotta get the PP figured out because it looks amateur right now.

Big contributions: Raanta late, Svech, Necas and all the blue liners. Staal line, Stepan is even getting involved.

So it looks like canes after dark is gonna be a thing for the next four games. I don’t think I can make it that late during a weeknight.
