lol.  Talk about clockwork.

Go read the article again.  It’s a legit point someone else shared of what a joke HC Matt Rhule was.

I mean, just take the L on how wrong you have been about all this stuff and move on.

I read it.  Rhule is what his record says he is, a sucky nfl coach.  Sorry I hoped he would win games.

As for poor Joe Brady, who was strung along for a whole week.  An  extra week of prep for Nixon would not have won another game.  It just wouldn't.  The mistake was hiring the green Brady.  The correct action was firing him.

As for predictions, your prediction record is pretty weak.  Case in point.

This is probably what Cam was speaking to when he made his comments after his last season in Carolina. He said something like he didn’t recognize the team anymore.

Honestly I don't want to recognise the team anymore.

Whoever the new HC is next year has to completely revamp the culture of this organisation. The odd good season sprinkled into multiple losing ones is not good enough.

I still can’t really believe Tepper hired this fraudulent college hype man to coach and run our beloved pro football team.

He'll undoubtedly go and have more success in College.

His skillset didn't translate to the pros - I wouldn't call him a fraudulent hype man though. Not unless you think Nick Saban is the same.

The actual mistake was hiring Matt Rhule.   Matt Rhule again remains the actual topic.

Would it be smarter to give Nixon 2 weeks to prep for a bad Atl team or just give him 1?  That's the discussion.

My guessing of the actions of a bad football coach in Matt Rhule isn't great.  Only thing worse is your prediction of how this season, Matt Rhule, Ben McAdoo, etc. would play out.

But just writing that would make for a very short article.

What was your record prediction for the year?  What were your game predictions again?

I'm sure there are variations of it as much as a BS around here.   Largely I think I laid out thoughts they could get somewhere between 4 to 7 wins before the season started.

I largely had after the Tampa Bay game as where and when I think Rhule would get the axe.

I had a bold prediction that Wilks or Tabor might pull of more wins than Rhule lol.  Which has a chance.

Wilks should get more wins than Rhule, he has a lot more games with some bad teams left on the schedule.

we will see, I mean McAdoo hasn't been exactly what I thought he would be.  It has been worse.  We are going to have to see something different from him.  Maybe Wilks can get it.  I do believe Rhule's thumbprint/micromanagement brought out the worst in folks.  I suspect we will find out pretty quick if that is realistic or not.

But if we don't see change from the O.....it's hard to see wins.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
