I think so as well. A competent coach and a top drafted QB could have us back on top sooner than it feels like right now. I could see us back in the mix in two years if we don’t fug with HC selection up.

Call me a pessimist but I don’t know the point of giving Burns his money. Trading CMC is extremely telling. Why pay guys who potentially have no future hear. This isn’t rocket science.

Whats the point of extending Burns. There is no guarantee we get the #1 pick let alone a franchise QB with the #1 pick. Why should we throw all this money away?
