The Timing of our Rebuild is Ideal

That’s a lot of IFs but sure. How about imagine if we did this right from day 1 when Tepper bought the team instead of the one foot in one foot out bull crap we had to deal with under Rhule’s tenure. We’d be competing right now in a weak sauce NFC. Landscape can change a lot in the next 2-3 years.

Look I’m a little happy we are finally going full rebuild and tank because we could use it especially with new qb and coach otw but the path to get here was bull crap and ruined the trust with the fans a bit.

Agreed. It should've been burnt to the ground the moment they decided to move on from Cam after 2019.

It should have been done when RR was fired.

We all knew what this was when we kept Marty Hurney, that instantly solidified Tepper as a moron who is going to fug this up.

As it stands we just need a HC / QB so you actually don't need to give away all our players.

This is what we had to look forward to with Christian:

5 Wins

5 Wins

5 Wins

And some records broken when he makes it a full season with the team force feeding him the rock.

I know right, I couldn't believe it myself but its the same number of wins as with the rest of the players on the team. Did some more digging and it turns out that's how that fuging works. Cray

Now if you'll excuse me imma continue to poo on our drafting.

Look at this stank: https://www.panthers.com/history/draft

11 picks in '21 and we got two doods out of it and we had some not hindsight OL picks we just skipped for tryna look like Belichick

    • It is simply a team that is unable to beat the teams they should beat. If they do that, no convoluted tiebreaker needed, and a justifiable winning record.  Team was 8-10 on the year and showed progress. But let’s not get carried away and throw a parade because of some fluke tiebreaker result.  We finished 1-3 coming out of a bye and 3 of those were ‘must win’ games. Only Seattle was not a must win. So we finished 1-2 in must win games and backed into the playoffs due to a fluke.  Generally speaking most teams drop a couple they shouldn’t and win a couple they shouldn’t. And that is what happened with our 2 wins over playoff teams. We stole a couple.    it was good that we did that, but a true good team does not get swept by the Saints, with a QB making only his second start in that first game.     That is what losing teams do. I have seen enough losing teams to know that.    Aside from that, I understand the thought that we have arrived and now we should expect to win every week. But I don’t really agree that we are there yet. I understand the FO and coaching staff need to take that posture around the players, but I am worried if they really believe that and start making moves based off of thinking our window is open NOW. .   I think one more season of acting as if we are building and the window is yet to open, would serve us better.  You know, afraid we are gonna start doing ‘win now’ moves and undermine the build.    We are really set up to take a step back now, with this harder schedule, with the unexpected Icky injury, and still with a lot of holes.
    • Unless it’s cheap. He is only 2 years from 100 point season and plays 200 feet.
    • I mean, if you could tell before he ever took a snap... ammiright?  Reality, my friend, shows a massive history of the best QBs taking time to come up to speed. Those that didn't are very, very rare. Manning, Rogers, Manning, Young, Montana, Stabler, Bradshaw, Staubach, Favre ... the list of those that took a few years to either get off the bench or make it on the field just goes on and on. The list of those thrown into the fire and just getting burned up is even longer. There's no magic crystal ball. There's just good coaching, patience and a helluva lot of luck in these picks.
