The college football playoff was the best thing to happen to Clemson.  

Unless the ACC gets a lot better….they still get an easy path.  I mean they have been playing what is one of the worst ACC QBs the last 2 years.   And they still are the top of the ACC.  That’s a fixable issue.  You might not get a Trevor but Clemson should be able to solve the DJ issue next year.

Bowers isn’t eligible yet and the 2nd would be way too high for Daniels.

LSU playing prevent. Young missed one layup to get into FG range but didn't miss the second one.

I really don't understand why teams lose their nerve and start playing not to lose. It's almost like the pendulum sways to favor the team forced to try to play to win.

They just blitzed with no safeties from what I saw. Just turned it on though

Not sure which play you're referring too. They were definitely playing prevent while they let Bama get into FG range.

Personally impressed with the improvement of LSU lately.  Brian Kelly has them playing much better especially on defense
