If Wilks is the guy we most definitely will. Picking a good coach has to happen before we pick any players.

That's what I've been preaching.  The OC and QB coach matter a lot. Those guys along with our GM and scouts have to be able to identify a qb or three in this draft that are worth the effort.

We need a coach with a deep tree to hire from. That's going to be important after Rhule and Rivera will not leave much talent.

Because home field advantage won’t mean anything against whoever we face. We have yet to actually beat anyone, all our wins how come against bad teams. 
All of our worst loses have come against playoff teams. 
We got blown out but the 49ers at home. I don’t think home field advantage will mean anything. 
Stop beating bad teams and actually win against a playoff team. 
Unfortunately after the Seahawks all we face is bad teams so we may enter the playoffs on a high horse only to be brought back down to earth.

      FLA showed everyone it’s not about superstars. they bullied the best line in the NHL into obscurity. they played hard, were in the right positions, and ran over everything that got in their way.

      That’s really not what you said and when I even expressed doubt as to your intentions with the post you doubled down and remained unclear on whether you were trying to drag Dean Smith for whatever reason. You just got the facts wrong, which if you don’t follow the local college programs like you say then maybe you just were mistaken and thought Smith didn’t win championships or have legit superstars, and that is ok, but you just doubled down when my first post was more corrective than anything. I’m not sure what you expect posting objectively false things like “RBA has a lot of wins with nothing to show for it like Dean Smith” (paraphrasing) on a message board with plenty of UNC fans. I’m not taking it as a personal affront, we can agree to disagree, Dean Smith’s legacy fortunately will not be affected by this conversation. Screw the (Florida) Panthers?

      Bring in the free agents and trades.  Florida is the best team and unless Tulsky makes it happen, it’s more of the same…which isn’t bad…but it’s time to win a goddamn cup.
