You're on the side of renowned crazy FOs, I get it.

Batsh*t, turn over the apple cart, blow it all up, rebuild, rebuild, rebuild, I get it. That's just you though.

Well, the "batsh-t" folks made it back to the Super Bowl. They didn't win, but then neither did Harbaugh when he went.

Michigan is still waiting on that National Championship game.

That's not really a fair comparison.  The Big 10 is a level below the SEC talent regardless of what Michigan and Ohio St fans think.  He has been successful at Michigan.

Did the team ever issue YOU a uniform hot rod?

Nope, but if they had. Boy, I tell you what!  I would have single-handedly, with my scrappy gym rat personality, insured that 2001 season would have been completely different.  We would never have won that first we, would would have gone a perfect 0-16!

The world would be completely different, Popsickle would be enshrined in the ring of honor with Luke, Smitty and TD, cars would fly, ole Jerry wouldn’t have instituted casual fridays, and Harbaugh would still not coach the Panthers.

He has the road map to that. You just have your opinion. Which is getting weaker the longer we go on here...

But hadn't even beaten Ohio State till the past few years.

Point of the discussion there though was our increasingly angry sounding friend's suggestion that the 49ers were doing lousy since Harbaugh. Objectively speaking, they're actually doing pretty well right now.

It took them 4 years to get to or above 500 after Harbaugh.  It's not like they slipped in a new HC and immediately were good.

You may not like Harbaugh and that's fine, but you can't argue against his winning percentage.  Belichick isn't well liked by everyone in his locker room either.

He doesn't act like every coach. Let's be real, he can be awkward and weird acting.

Why do they put up with the guy who wears the same hoodie when he has millions of dollars. Has he ever heard of the team store?

He wins.

Belichick minus Brady isn't exactly doing great.

I have no dislike for Harbaugh, but a lot of people who've worked with him have.

The problem with him though is that kind of never happy, always angry, constantly screaming persona used to be the norm in the NFL, but just doesn't work anymore. You can still get away with it at the college level, but in the pros what happened with Harbaugh in San Francisco is likely going to happen anywhere else he goes as well.

For the record, the coach we just fired at that same kind of personality.

And we're back where we started.  The guy has a near 70% win rate.  For the record, I don't think he's going to leave Michigan because its honestly the perfect job for him.  I'm just flabbergasted you can argue against a proven success after you spent the last hiring cycle pounding your chest over Hackett.  Now if you wanna talk about things that don't work in the NFL..

Duh. Harbaugh was an NFL QB. He's an OFFENSIVE minded coach.HE built an offense for one read Kreapernick and took them to the SB.

HE developed Andrew Luck.

Duh, that's why his teams are known for their defenses more so than offense.  San Fran and Michigan's calling card was/is defense.  Jim is hardly an innovative offensive guru despite being an ex-QB himself.  But you already knew that.

    • The last thing I will say, because I'm not going down this Bryce Young rabbit hole again, especially with said poster: You guys aren't the only people who see what you see.  Stop focusing on small minority of fans and voices.  The media has accepted Bryce Young isn't anything more than a game-manager at best.  You can literally look up "Bryce Young Franchise QB" and the only thing that pops up is that the Panthers MAY be viewing him as one, but no media outlet supports it.  The vast majority of fans accept he won't ever be the guy. It is such a stupid conversation for this reason.  You guys get so tripped up over such a small minority.  Bryce Young SUCKS.  We get it.   And feel free to continue to converse about it.  It is a discussion forum.  Have at it.  But can we just stop using words like "retard" to describe people who might not want to go as far as you all do?  Or acting like you have some unique ability to see things in the game that others can't?  There is no "mythos" around Bryce Young except in your head.
    • Only thing I’ve seen that says it on is TWSN sports which is notorious for clickbait titles and in the articles it usually says something like this is a prediction not a report even though the title of the article sounds definitive.
    • Sorry, someone probably said this, but I'm not going back over 9 pages 😃 QBs get an outsized amount of credit for wins and losses.  Bryce is the same way.   He was far from good except for a handful of plays.  That's not a recipe for success long term.  On the flip side, with the running game and defense playing so well, he's not being asked to do too much.  He doesn't look like "the guy."  I'm all for bringing in real competition with Bryce this year.
