My point about Wilks is this- if he is trying to prove he is the man for the job, then playing not to lose ain't it. Maybe we all don't know what was going on behind the scenes, but we can all clearly see that the D regressed badly under him (and he is a D guy). He gets somewhat of a pass due to personnel, but playing scared is another thing we all see clearly. He had a chance to win the division and poo the bed big time last week. 

We have receiver talent ?

      Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.

      Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.

      I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
