What round would you target a DE and has any names piqued your interest.

I've not researched any. That's for the professional scouts. I just know what they've being trying isn't working and it's because of the light ass players they've been drafting.  They've targeted fast players on defense and all are weak in both the run and the pass. Too much focus has been put on speed and not enough on strength and ability.

They better not get another tweener DE.  I'm tiired of the hybrid crap we've been running unsuccessfully for years. Get real DE's and DT's and stop this tweener horseshit.

I'd say it's at least possible they go full on 3-4.

Probably depends on who the DC is.

I believe that was Phil Snows MO. Light backers to run his 3-3 stack, hybrid nickel Big Nickel, Little nickel. The DE’s, Will, or Sam backers can play zone coverage, which sucks in run support.

you mean objectively?

Meaning something other than your tinfoil hat / uninformed speculation.

I'd start with the annual agent survey that The Athletic does where they rate GMs and personnel people on things like football knowledge and trustworthiness. Fitterer and Morgan have both been discussed in the most recent few of those.

There's also plenty to find in recent articles centered around the hiring of Frank Reich.

He was trying to build a hybrid defense that he could use for multiple fronts and against any offense they went up against.  The problem is you cannot have 30 players on defense to rotate in and out like in college.

    • You're dreaming if you think that's all it would cost to move up from the 51st pick to the 1st round. It would take at least a first next year
