Would you take Eric sleeping with Bieniemy as OC?

I didn't say it "proves" anything, but at least there is plenty of evidence that he can do the job since he has been doing it according to one of the best coaches in the game.

So did Matt Nagy at one point, as I recall. Heck, word these days is the Chiefs would prefer Nagy as a successor to Reid over Bieniemy.

Bieniemy is leaving the Chiefs because he knows what the perception of him is and wants to disprove it.

There is a chance, however, that he proves that perception correct.

Ask yourself this question:  How many of Andy Reid's offensive disciples have succeeded elsewhere?

Answer:  1.  Doug Pederson - and that's still debatable in many circles.

Honestly, if EB was so promising, why hasn't he had the chance to call some plays in KC?  There have been plenty of blowouts where Andy could easily have handed that off.

EB is one red flag after another.

What part did you miss where Andy Reid said that Bienemy does call the plays?

Bienemy has had off-the-field stuff and may simply be a bad interviewer or an asshole in some kind of way. We already know that he's been a good play caller, if not play designer.

There's also a chance that he proves it incorrect.

Nagy? LOL

    • Looking like it might be game 7 for Pitt and Phi. Philly is spent. I like more rest for the canes
    • Moton is the man through and through. 2 things I'll always give Gettleman credit for, 1 is drafting Moton, the other is building a SB contending roster and blowing it up in one off-season
    • Kurb is still alive and well.  I’m still friends with him on all of the social media.  He truly is a great man!  That’s my bro!  He always looked out for me since the early days of the huddle.  It definitely makes me sad that he just quit posting here, but that’s life.  He still shares his takes on social media and X, but a lot of the huddle vets just grew tired of this format and the environment, I guess?  It’s a lot of guys that were valuable contributors here that just stopped posting but are still alive and passionate Panthers fans.  Blindsite used to post huge write-ups and was a well-respected poster and then just disappeared.  We had one of these type threads several years ago and he checked back in and explained he just lost the motivation to stay active here.  It was amazing hearing from him again…   I signed up in 04 after coming over from the Charlotte.com boards and been here ever since.  (For those that don’t know - this is Proudiddy - had to change the name very recently due to ‘ol tootsie roll penis and the bad press 😂).  I’m forever thankful for all of you, even those who I haven’t had the greatest history with, I still appreciate yall.  Many have come and gone, both figuratively and literally, and that has put a lot into perspective over the years.  I went from a young, newly married, wide-eyed twenty year-old guy with a baby on the way, to a now forty-two year-old guy, recently divorced and newly re-married guy with my oldest baby now an adult and 5 more kids since.  And what ride it has been!  You guys have been a much bigger part of my life than I really care to acknowledge.😂
