Unreal how jacked this guy is. Him and AR15 are in a world of their own physique wise.

He was considered a run first QB when he transferred to Kentucky from Penn State. He’s a little old for a rookie, but he’s only been the starting QB for two seasons. The progress he’s made is pretty impressive to get where he is today. At least it shows he’s willing to do the dirty work of the job.

40.5 vertical for AR at the combine. unreal.

Better than cams right?

Honestly, from what I've seen I'm happy with whoever the staff drafts because the top 4 all looks good and this staff I trust to put them in the best situation.

I take it back. It looks like this drill isn’t a good showcase for the QBs. Most of the guys aren’t leading their receivers on this throw.

More like Levis is just that much better. IF anything it boosts him a little throwing this well against guys who aren't throwing it as well as he is.

Here's the 10 fastest throws at the combine since official record-keeping began in 2008:

1. Logan Thomas, Virginia Tech (2014), 60 mph

T-2. Stephen Morris, Miami (Fla.) (2014), 59 mph

T-2 Zac Dysert, Miami (Ohio) (2013), 59 mph

T-2. Tyler Bray Tennessee (2013), 59 mph

T-2. Brandon Weeden, Oklahoma State (2012), 59 mph

T-2. Kirk Cousins, Michigan State (2012), 59 mph

T-2. Colin Kaepernick, Nevada (2011), 59 mph

T-8. Austin Davis, Southern Miss (2012), 58 mph

T-8. Ryan Mallett, Arkansas (2011), 58 mph

T-8. John Parker Wilson, Alabama (2009), 58 mph

T-8. Mike Reilly, Central Washington (2009), 58 mph

T-8. Drew Willy, Buffalo (2009), 58 mph

Pretty unimpressive list of QBs, TBH. Maybe how fast you can throw a football isn't that important in the NFL.

This was the first drill even Levis wasn’t leading his receivers in. I think it’s the drill and not a good showcase for the guys throwing passes.

How fast you can throw it in a game situation does. Guys like Weeden and Cousins have very average NFL arms in game action. I don't really care how fast you can throw the ball in a drill setting.

    • Bill Polian and Bill Lekas on Chalk Talks SiriusXM radio this morning.  Polian needs to retire (again). First he talks about Andy Dalton as our backup and then suggests trading down to get Sadiq. Clueless. At least he brought up the hole losing Ashawn Robinson caused.
    • And you know this how? Stay in your lane, junior. I'm pretty sure I'm a lot older than you, am a whole lot more experienced with life, and have watched football in earnest probably longer than you've been alive. I agree, but I was talking directly about injuries. As far as the economics, I'm assuming that Moton would have to take a pay cut and would probably be compelled to if he wants to stay in Charlotte. He seems like a thoughtful and practical guy. He knows that he's getting older and realizes the nature of the business. Hell, last time there were were questions on whether he would be here the last season. Dan and Brandt were dialing up the pressure. I don't think they're going to go into any type of contractual extension discussions without having a backup plan--i.e., a person that will appear to be Moton's replacement. And, to be honest, that person may be Moton's replacement depending how things go. But, I get the impression that Moton wants to be in Charlotte (unless he's developed some undying desire to chase a championship somewhere else).
    • It would be pretty fun with something like this. 3 on 3 the first 5 minutes, 2 on 2 the next 5 minutes (after a stoppage), then 1 on 1 (after a stoppage) the rest of the way. I just feel like this would be equal parts entertaining and chaos to watch
