IF FA get OBJ for cheap 8mil a year deal. Or Allen Lazard on a similar deal.

What about something like Corral and a 2024 4th or 5th round pick for Hopkins?

I'm guessing they're looking for a 3rd for Hop, but something like that could work and I think it would be totally worth it for us to do.

They might not want to pay for a FA QB if they think Kyler won't miss much time, could be an interesting trade as Corral at least would likely fit in the same offense they put together for Kyler.

OBJ isn’t coming for cheap. We need a solid WR and one via the draft. Meyers and Juju are young established slot WRs and we will have Marshall on the outside. Draft a WR like Tillman in the 3rd and we have a nice young core.

Hop is making like 30 mill. They need to eat a good chunk of that salary.

His Cap hit is 30, his salary is 19.5, which means he'd only be 19.5 towards our cap as the 30 includes the portion of his signing bonus.

Sign him to a 1-2 year extension at the same time and we can lower that cap hit by a decent amount and structure it in a way that it really doesn't hurt us in the future much either.

Meyers will be expensive. I told you earlier he's the best WR in FA so he will be looking to be the highest paid of all the WR's.

 

Juju is a tik tok fanboy. He needs to be with a QB that will keep him in check. Not sure he is what we need for a rookie QB.

I asked you to show me where Frank said Dalton presented a much greater threat than Bryce Young (your words) and you give me your interpretation of something completely different that he said. Most normal people would listen to Reich there and see that as standard coachspeak conveying confidence in his back-up QB and your brain translates that into Reich calling out Bryce’s limitations.
