Dude has the best arm talent in terms of strength + accuracy + Placement of the entire class. Plenty to love about Stroud.

Absolutely.

I know some fans of Bryce Young find such talk to be anathema, but they really shouldn't.

Even if you think Young is better, it's kind of silly to deny just how good CJ Stroud is.

I really think we are making a big mistake going with young.  I’ll get on the train once it happens but damn.

said it many times and will keep saying it until that name is called. i'll be ecstatic with either guy. and i'd also be really excited about the potential of AR if he's the name called.

Lots to like about all of them.

And i've said this before and i still totally believe it, whoever we pick will be better than the other options when it all plays out because of the situation they are landing into here.

I don't know if I'd go so far as calling it a mistake, but the idea does scare the life out of me.

Said before that if we do this, I'm gonna be crossing myself every time Young takes a hit... and I'm not Catholic.

Like it or not those two guys will probably be linked and compared on here until the end of time.

Like Manning and Leaf, though if that's how it turns out I hope we get the "Manning" of this draft.

It is, of course, possible that both guys will turn out to be great quarterbacks. It feels like very few of the debates even acknowledge that as a possibility.

i have a feeling that might happen. i'm actually excited at the prospect of it being ATL that gets the other guy. a solid long term division rivalry would be a lot of fun.

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
