I have been a fan of his since i saw him play years ago. I have wanted him on my team since then and will support him wherever he goes. I think he will come in and lockdown the QB1 position very swiftly. Probably the player i will be watching the most when the panthers arent on. Love his game.

So here's what's curious: In the most recent press conference, Tepper said regarding the #1 pick, there's been "clarity since the combine". 

This would explain why they pulled the trigger on the trade after observing the QBs at the combine. But the one QB who DIDN'T throw at the combine was Young.
