Four players on one team...

The NFL, and really all sports organizations, are big hypocrites.  All day they drown us with the "betting odds" from games to who will go 1st overall.  Yet when their players are caught BETTING, they are like, "Oh, how dare they!!!  Throw them in the stockade!!!!!!"  This is nothing but chickens coming home to roost for allowing the nation to legalize sports gambling.

I'd say that discussion is...ongoing.

Yes, but we as regular folk can't throw games to help with a bet. Players technically can ... thus why betting is banned. Pretty simple concept.

Its all semantics.  The players' family would be regular folk.  Literally anyone they know could place a bet, and try to get in their ear to make things happen.  All I'm saying is, if you are that phobic towards your players betting on anything (even if it's outside football), why in the world are you promoting it everywhere?  They go out of their way to promote that stuff.  Are the players dumb for gambling?  Yes.  Is the NFL hypocritical?  Yes.  If we are going to condemn the players, also condemn the league who promotes gambling.

    • Pie just for knowing that show..... I still think they thought fuggit its the Falcons pick so lets just try and snag a position of need. Wouldn't be shocked if they draft another one late like the good ole Browns last year. Stafford is old AF and his back is messed up. Analysis thought he would retire last year. Snead has shown he can find impact players outside of the 1st so he isn't sweating.  If i was McVay i would've been pissed tho......
    • It's crazy that they were having relations in March 2020, 6 months before she got married. Plenty of time to get cold feet and call it off but not only did she go for the wedding, the getting pregnant almost immediately and then naming your kid Mikey? oof
    • I think we'd just look at secondary or center in that situation.
