I have not heard anyone who champions another qb label Young fans in some derogatory fashion.  It's just insecure Young fans who seem to call people names if you are not in love with the guy.

You may not but I have Stroud and AR are just as bad if not worse. Like rippadon.

Honestly, if a fan's behavior causes you to feel differently about anyone other than the fan, you have issues. Maybe apply some thought to your feelings. You actually don't like a kid because some obnoxious 40-year-old on the internet won't shut up about him? Seriously?

What blind homerism? I don’t give a effing damn who we draft. But I have had more negative interactions with Stroud and AR stans than Young. But whatever.

I would just try to separate the two and let Bryce show you who he is. We'll be happy. It just boils down to how the team protects him. Can't make the same mistakes as we did with our last franchise QB. Speaking of which. The most obnoxious pro Young fans remind me of the folks who thought Cam was indestructible and infallible. They're just latching on and compensating for their own insecurities. It happens in most fanbases. Just enjoy the ride and the wave of optimism we currently have going for us who knows how long it will last.

I know. It's getting annoying already and the name hasn't even been announced.  I'm bracing myself for the influx of player only fans.

I have seen people bashing Young and his size, but I have not seen people bashing Young supporters with nicknames etc. There are a very small, select set of Young bashers that are behaving nuts, but it’s been focused on the player. Bashing the supporters is a one sided thing (unless I’ve missed it).

      Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move.  Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history.  If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though.

      13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion.       Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit.
