USFL Panthers in the Playoffs

the eight team USFL is done with their regular season, and their 2 game playoffs are this weekend, which include the Meechigan Panthers at 4-6. Moreover, the entire North division ended below .500, spots 1-3 all being 4-6. Oy.

Go Panthers, regardless. I guess…

6 out of the 8 teams in the league had a negative point differential yuck.

I enjoyed the games I watched.  It was truly an “any given week” league.

the last Panthers game was whacked. they were getting their asses handed to them most of the game, and then made a couple of huge returns late to flip the game on its head, and that was to decide the last playoff spot.

It's only a matter of time before the NFL runs into a huge scandal with betting. I wish they had never gotten involved with it, much less fallen so in love with it and the easy money.

I guess that's how all gambling stories start off.

I still don't trust that refs aren't doing some form of gambling or providing info to an outside party for gambling on some level. Seems like it must be harder to enforce rules on the refs than players

I remember when our team name was announced and thinking, "As in Michigan Panthers? Ugh."

Then I saw the logo, and was cool with it.

That's all I have to say about the Michigan Panthers.
