David Tepper made a rule that you cannot be eligible until 2 years after retirement which would make Cam ineligible. In my opinion the following players should be locks and the 2 are definitely coming from this group.

1. Michael Bates

2. Thomas Davis Sr.

3. Ryan Kalil

4. Luke Kuechly

5. Muhsin Muhammad

6. Greg Olsen

7. Julius Peppers

I can’t see how it’s not Luke and Pep, especially with Peppers likely entering the HOF this year. With that said it seems silly to me to not put TD and Olsen in, along with the other 4.

other players I can see making it some day are Kasay, Minter, Rucker, CJ, Jenkins, Gamble, Stew, and Greene.

 

Minter over Bates.  I loved Bates but Minter is a panthers legend.

A healthy and motivated Jenkins was on another planet IMO than Kemo.   The window was small though. Kemo the more consistent player over a longer period.

Jenkins more than had his moments. There's a story that Gruden called whoever was the Jets coach to personally thank him for getting Jenkins out of the division. 

We eagerly traded him out for a 3rd and 5th I think. I've forgotten what the reasons were. Doesn't really matter anymore at this point.

      I'm talking about on any team. I keep hearing that but have yet to see an example. The last high flying offense I've seen was the Rams "Greatest Show on Turf". Since then it's been just average for passing offenses across the league.

      we might have to wait a minute. i really don't think that we have seen enough in a competently managed offense to know what BY is capable of. i want to see what they can dial up with an upgraded OL, WR room, pass catching TE, and a coaching staff that is too preoccupied with hunger game crap to figure out what to do on offense.  "highlights" from last year don't inspire me, but i'm hoping that within the first few games we'll see something working better. exactly what, i don't know. fortunately it's not my job to figure that poo out. my job is to sit back, watch...and then celebrate or bitch depending on what happens.  i am excited to see what canales puts together, though.
