First home game at Ericsson Stadium.

Found this today in some of my stuff. Commemorative coin from the first home game. Just thought it was kind of cool. I remember it being a 500 degrees that day.

Wesley walls acting like he is shooting at birds after scoring is my memory of that game.

Fun fact, I met him at the super bowl in 2016 and said that to him and his response was "I hated the Falcons so much".

I remember that day well. Me and my dad weren't getting along much, but for those 4 hours, the only thing that mattered was Pamthers football and massive sunburn. Still ranks as one of the top 10 days ever.

That was actually not the first ever game at Ericson Stadium. That coin is from 1998. We lost that game but won in 1996.

Pretty sure we played at Clemson the first 2 seasons

First season only in '95 was played in Clemson.  We played '96 in Charlotte.  That coin was from the '98 opener.

Thanks for clearing that up...  I was thinking for some reason it was the first home game...  I was at that one too...  We went to all those Clemson games...  What a nightmare of traffic coming down from Charlotte...

They used to give out coins quite a bit. I have the inaugural game one from playing the Bears in '96 which was technically the first home game but was a preseason match.  Hell, CLTFC does coins plenty now.  Come on Panthers give us a Bryce MNF coin.
