I did a free 7 day trial of apple just to watch a braves game lol. There was one series i liked, the silo. so i binge watched it. Other than that I thought the limited choices of shows (very little sports) sucked.

Apple is being smart. They're not overextending and taking huge losses like Disney did with Disney+. They're churning content at a lower rate and hoping to leverage other draws to fill in the blanks. If they get sports beyond soccer, they'll be set.

They (Apple) have to be pretty happy with MLS Season Pass. I haven’t heard of any actual streaming issues with the product, they also make certain games free every match day to keep those with an interest intrigued, and now that Messi is in the MLS, their numbers will only go up.

they only have around 1m season pass subs right now which to me seemed really low. otherwise I agree--with Messi the numbers could explode at any moment and that is the first in a long list of huge dominoes to fall.

I love their shows, their MLS coverage is awesome, and their MLB games are amazing.  I would drop netflix before apple at this point (course i do get mls for free being a cltfc sth)

What would be wild is if Apple finally buys Disney. Those rumors have been around for forever but Iger’s recent comments might make the rumor carry more weight than it ever has before.

I would rate AppleTV MLB coverage for the Braves game I saw as “ok” but that’s in comparison to Ballys coverage. I’m not a soccer fan so not much interest in them. Also don’t like big corps owning everything.

Lucky Apple is only $6-7 per month, otherwise I'd drop it. I've watched a couple series and watching Jon Stewart's show now, couple movies here and there, but it's far from being a replacement for cable/satellite.

I only have Apple TV to watch Charlotte FC lose each week. I’ll prob be getting rid of that soon.

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
